 National Trout Festival - The annual Trout Festival of Kalkaska is the perfect time for RE/MAX Harmony associates and staff members to visit with friends and neighbors while participating in the various events, especially the parade which draws a large crowd up and down Cedar Street. The National Trout Festival is held during the last weekend in April. The Kaliseum - The Kaliseum is the newest family oriented attraction in Kalkaska. It houses an ice skating rink and two swimming pools currently. RE/MAX Harmony donates a hot air balloon ride to the annual fundraising dinner and auction. Habitat For Humanity - A worthy cause we support in our efforts to spread the emotional and financial benefits of home ownership. RE/MAX Harmony had a parking lot sale with all of the proceeds donated to Habitat For Humanity. Flag Raising - Our RE/MAX Harmony Associates greatly enjoy the local tradition we have established in lining our main thoroughfares with American flags and dressing up our downtown location in red, white, and blue. School Balloon Program - RE/MAX has sponsored a demonstration of how a hot air balloon is inflated in conjunction with a movie showing how it is flown and how wind currents affect the flight. Our local elementary students always have many interesting questions as their fantasy takes to the air. |
